Edge has announced that he is forced to retire from competition due to a spinal stenosis injury, among other injures he suffered over the years. After a successful title defense at WM 27, the doctors informed him that he will never be cleared to wrestle ever again and therefore he will vacate his World Heavyweight Championship.

After 13 years with the WWE, the 11-time World Champion, 5-time Intercontinental Champion, 1-time U.S Champion, a record 14-time Tag Team Champion, 2001 King of the Ring, inaugural Money in the Bank winner, Royal Rumble 2010 winner, with a grand total of 31 Championships, Edge will now retire as World Heavyweight Champion.

I am a huge Edge fan over the years and i am very sad to hear this today. I am sure he still have many good years left in wrestling if it wasn't for the injuries.

Here's to the Rated R Superstar. :supz:

"You think you know me?"
