I think it should be in this forum since there are so many adaptations in comics.
The one that follows closest to 三国演义 is the version by 李志清, but it ends when 诸葛亮 dies so cannot be considered the complete story. So far the rest have major changes to the storyline and I usually won't follow because it makes me confused. I still prefer the China serial that is repeating...but 诸葛亮 is dying soon :((
Since we were discussing who your favourite character is on another thread, might as well say mine...its common, 诸葛亮, 关羽， 曹操.

I play the 三國演義 online instead last time... Dun know why I get hooks by this game during that time:?: Wasting my time training to chop the tree till lvl 50.
There are so many cheaters in this game too.. Sucks game I can say [-X

I usually played this game. Never reads the novel before.
I prefered to read in manga ver rather than all words with no actions etc... Of course, novel is more details in plots and some hidden scenes etc...

should try the original novel san guo yan yi...its very nice...though its very the damn long lah :scared:
The very first San Guo novel is San Guo Zhi Ping Hua...(Tang Dynasty...I think) Later a lot of verison came out and Luo GuanZhong rearrange and edited it, published San Guo Zhi Tong Shu Yan Yi (during beginning of Ming Dynasty). During Qing Dynasty, the Jins (father and son) re-edited it and published the San Guo Yan Yi which what we are reading now... :)

actually luo guan zhong's version is bit biase to liu bei...coz he's a believer of ru jia shi xiang (儒家思想)...fr his way of rearranging the stories...the readers will frrl that ca2o cao1 (曹操) is a bad guy....
most of the time how this ROTK goes depends a lot on the writter's thinking...just like chen mou's huofeng liao yuan...u can receive a different msg when reading this comics compare to luo guan zhong's version...;)

Luo bias more on Zhuge than Liu Bei...if you read SGZ (san guo zhi - historical book by Chen Shou), you will see that most of the events happen on KongMing actually were taken from others...
BTW ROTK....hmm Return Of The King...:laugh: juz kidding...

Lu Bu is Zhan Shen wow. Although not my most favourite, but his martial arts is No 1 in ROTK.

Type LV... they dont have the U with the dots so they use V... 吕..女 etc.. a friend from China taught me this. ha. I was having trouble with this too...

Yeah Lu Bu is the no. 1 warrior at that era... But sometimes he is over too exaggerate liao in the history or novel... So does Guan Yu...
