Hello I'm new to this forum and I'm not really sure where is the Help & Request thread is... However, my group is in urgent need of help here.
The Calypso Project is a 5-minute, anime-styled 2D animation geared towards international competition levels. We aim to get Singapore noticed in the traditional animation industry from this pilot. We also follow the animation industry standards in Japan closely for this project.
However, we are currently short of manpower and are running badly behind schedule as the deadline of the project falls on the 24th August 2010. Hence, we are requesting your help to work with us on the project. Due to our limited budget, we cannot afford to pay you much or at all, but hope that those interested will treat this as a learning opportunity. It will be a good chance for you to develop your skills, gain some material for your portfolios, become familiar with the standards of the animation industry, and be part of a team dedicated to realizing a polished animated product. This is a good chance if you are lean towards traditional animation to learn more. Credits will definitely be given.
We are currently in dire need of After Effects compositors(who are interested in anime and have sense of timing), Final Cut Pro editors and sound designer for sound effects.

Nanyang Technological University
Most of the team members will be here from Monday- Sunday, 10am to 9pm. If you are interested to join us, you can come anytime during these days, but please contact me first before coming.
