I guess we can have something for this since there are so many manga on sports. I would recommend these although I have not read many.

1. 铁拳对钢拳 (Not really into sports, but what to do, its my favourite :D )
2. Rookies - on baseball
3. 足球小将一斗 - on soccer
4. Slamdunk - on basketball....need I say? :)
5. 功夫旋风儿 - on judo, 1st series surpases the rest

yup rookie. totally agree. those titles u mentioned are indeed solid sports comic..besides that i think i shall add these into the list: :dance:
1. H2 - baseball and boxing
2. katsu - boxing (same author with H2)
3. real - slam dunk author did it...not finished yet, also on basketball
personally, i think slam dunk and rookies and katsu is the best. the stories, the drawing styles, the charactors...all are superb :rock:

how about all all hao xiao zhi sports comics collections.

got boxing, tennis,kendo,sumo and golf.all super funny and great story.got three of his collection only.will be getting the boxing one once i got the money. :D

Actually, not many people likes Real... All of my fren dun even bother to watch it including myself. SD is the most classic hot titles for basketball.

And I thought Whistle is based on soccer??? I've read finish this title, not my types. Prefered Captain Tsubasa series but not the part 3...

I think otherwise.... I love both SD and REAL... although from the same artist, they are of quite different style and mood.... for SD, It's simply basketball action.... while in REAL... there are more indepth emotions... which are more diffcult to write, or to draw....in this case...:)

And of cos ROOKIE... is also one of my favorite sport cmoic... very funny and lot of action too:supz:

His new work was shown in the Jap mag for quite sometimes liao. But I still haven seen the vol 1 release yet :(

Ok, back to topic. Since this thread is about sport, than I shall introduce the "Cross Game" by 安達充 :)

All about baseball, now released till vol 2. The story still developing quite slow on baseball though. As a 安達充's fan, u definitely won't missed it :)

one the my fav sport comic is 好小子, it's about japanese kendo very funny & I like the story line very much :supz:
of course slam dunk is one of the best sport comic out there :thumbsup:

SO sad that the aurthor ends the Rookies. Somehow ending just like Slam Dunk. Doesn't have a proper ending :(
