Hi,

Can anyone please confirm if getting a mobile broadband stick can allow me to access internet with my nokia E72? I just bought this phone and was told by the M1 sales person that subscribing to their mobile broadband can allow me to surf internet but wonder if it is true?

Can anyone please enlighten me and confirm?

thanks bros for your advice.

Any good mobile broadband plan to recommend? I am currently under mio plan and would like to have mobile broadband so that i can be online even on the move but this would have added in to my monthly cost.

Heard that singtel mobile broadband is limited data usage but is the only Sgd 18.50 for 2mbps.

Can anyone recommend the best mobile broadband deals (or wait for christmas offer) ? What will be the optimal speed? is 1mbps really very slow?

thank all in advance for your advice.

im currently using mobile broadband from M1. 1mpbs. loading time depends may be darn slow but most of the times quite ok, but 1mbps is already 10 i think addin another 8$ for 1mbps more is not so bad

Have you ever heard of Google?

Most if not all of your questions can be answered by doing a little work, which consists of *click* & *search*.

Also, I find it very strange that you are asking these questions in a non-technical forum.

It seems like some joker actually came in to add in his/her views around ONE MONTH after i posted the queries.

Of course i have heard of google and use it to search for information. Which of the search results actually provide users' experience with mobile broadband in local context????

Here, i am asking fellow forumers to offer advice and share their experience, and some kind souls did reply.

If you have nothing productive to share or contribute, pls do not violate others' rights and freedom in posting their genuine queries. There are administrators in this forum and they can close off the thread if they deemed it to be redundant and useless.

Show some respect to others and not post unproductive remarks in a bid to boost your posting.

First off, you have just insulted a 'kind soul' who was only trying to help.

While I have not conducted my own research into the pros and cons of the various service providers in Singapore, I am pretty sure the multitude of local technical forums would adequately cover the specific topic.

My apologies if they do not.

I am not violating others' rights and freedom in posting their genuine queries.

Just that a considerable number of your posts consists of
'Can any one/kind souls enlighten me this and confirm that?'

Perhaps you are being too productive doing what you are doing and are thus unable to conduct your own research.

And finally, I do not bother with 'posting' rating.
Maybe some kind souls can enlighten me why I am in a bid to boost my posting.

Oh, and please confirm for me, thanks all in advance.

Oh is it? I really cant find anything productive and helpful in the posting of this "kind soul" who is trying to help in any way.

Whereas there may be other local forums covering similar topics, i do not see any reason why i cannot raise the same topic here especially when i cant find the answers to the queries i have raised in the "multitude of local technical forums" that someone is trying to advise here.

In starting a thread to seek the advice and comments from fellow forumers, shouldnt it be put in a nice and polite way to start it off? It is surprising to know that such basic netiquette stand in the way of someone who lacks of it.

Well, there may be no need to boost the posting anymore now that the statistic is so high and it wont come in as a surprise that the majority of it came from replies with similar intention to "help".
