Why are we seeing increasingly fewer good Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections??
We also see fewer shops carrying them.
And the Mini Fantasy forums is like rather inactive. :(
Maybe the profit margin for Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections is lower for the "toy companies & retailers", my guess only......

Becos alot of buyers squeeze sellers price till they cant survive:cry:
Not to forget the "small" amount of buyers available in SG. We are smaller as a nation when compared to many cities around the world. The Toy wholesalers/retailers find it hard, as it is like trying to fight in a HDB lift with X peoples (X is the amount of wholesalers/retailers Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections)..........:duh:

Doesnt look very attractive to me and at the same time alot of "fake" one ard
The issue of fakes/pirated copies of good Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections is a serious cases not only for consumers like most of us here, but also for retailers. The ease of pirates to get hold of the same manufacturing mounds for good Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections is not helping the toy market. This have to be blame of the greed of some mainland Chinese who want to milk even the "illegal last drops" of money.
I have seen the " possible heart" of such fakes/pirated copies of good Gashapon / Trading Figure Collections during my trip to Gang Zhou (China) in 2007 at a shopping mall called "Wan Ling". :duh:

bootlegs are getting more rampant and prevalent in the market. it is now harder to distinguish the real from the fakes and since profit margins are low for gashapon only local distributors will bring them in.
can suggest to sheng tai to bring in but i doubt they will entertain requests from collector like us?
